Installation

The installation Power Bottom Looking for Human Decency provides an insight into the contemporary gay scene. Delicate underwear and tops are arranged on a clothesline. Subtle embroidery adorns the textiles. Eight different types of underwear thematise gay tribes using gay vocabulary. Eight tops deal with traumatic experiences within the gay community. In the process of washing dirty laundry with difficult stains over and over again, the persistent stain may fade. Yet the memory of it remains.
