Single-channel video

Using an old video recording made by a close relative in 2006, 🇩🇪 / Schland explores themes of patriotism and identity. The poem underlying the recording processes memories the artist experienced as a child watching football matches and interrogates the patriotic inclinations that arise during football world cups and conflicts that emerge when identity is reduced to identification with nation-states.
