Together with the curators and artists of the second edition of SPECTRAL. Unburdened Recollections, we will talk about the pieces shown, the process of their performance and the work involved in their research and reconstruction. At the same time, we would like to discuss issues related to the documentation, archiving and distribution of Expanded Cinema, as well as the ethical dimensions of the reconstruction and presentation of works in this field.

SPECTRAL is a four-year collaborative project between six artist-run film labs with a DIY philosophy that focuses on the expansive possibilities of live cinema and analogue projection. The project includes artist residencies, workshops, the creation of hybrid film equipment, screenings, and expanded events.
